Meet the artist
It all began in 1960 when people started calling me Jeff, so that must be me!
I’ve been drawing and painting as far back as I can remember, and retirement is finally providing me the opportunity to create full-time!
To back up a minute, I’m a graduate of the Fine Arts Program at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. My days in Las Vegas included woking as a freelance artist producing portraits, illustrations, print ads, sign painting and even a billboard for a major hotel. Following that, I held a career as a mapping engineer for a utility company in Northern Nevada, and now you’re up to date minus the details.
I took a special interest in the human figure and the unique characteristics of portraits. I believe in capturing the uniqueness and charm of each subject, bringing life to a moment in time.
When I’m not making art, you can find me in the mountains, engaging in art and entertainment culture, and spending time with my family.
